Bienvenue! Welcome! Here is another example of me getting off track, but I think it was well worth it in the end. While making my Christmas Jingle cards I also made this page, I just adore it, mostly because of the sentiment that it brings. The photos were taken at our old house on Christmas eve 2009, on Christmas eve we have developed certain traditions such as a finger foods dinner (yum!), playing games and watching Christmas movies. Pretty low key, no gallivanting around, but I wouldn't have it any other way because to me, Christmas is all about spending time with family and that is what we do. I truly cherish moments like these.
Many of the elements on the page come from the kit, however I will mention the ones that don't. The buttons and Baker's twine were added by me, and also the scalloped border and the zig zag border are cut from Real Red and Old Olive cardstock using the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim die. What a great investment that die was, I did manage to pick it up as a half priced hostess item and I use it all the time! At this time I invite you to share with me some of your Christmas traditions, I'd like to hear what some of my readers do... see you soon! E
