A Card For Cheryl
Good day, I didn't post this card this morning because I hadn't been to Cheryl's house to deliver it yet and it's her birthday today. It is a petal fold card where the outside of the card acts as an envelope and the flaps overlap to close it. I made one like this for my mom for Mother's day last year. I once again used the Good Day Sunshine kit by My Mind's Eye, I just love the colours of it. I added some crystal effects to make the scooter glossy, you can see a bit of a reflection on the rear tire and fender... The photo quality isn't the greatest because they were taken at night and in poor lighting conditions (sorry).
Colours: Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
Stamps: Create a Cupcake, In a Word, Pedaling Past
Accessories: Crystal Effects, Soft Suede ink and Stampin' Sponge (for distressing), circle cutting tool, Big Shot, Spellbinders dies, Basic Grey Jovial Jumbo Brad, Good Day Sunshine kit by MME
January is a busy month for birthdays for me, I can guarantee that you will see at least two more birthday cards this month. I'm not sure what else I'm going to get into, hopefully some scrapbooking. Have a super day, E!
